Park Avenue has a small 'x' height with tall ascenders, giving the face a refined, elegant appearance. The full elegance and lightness of Park Avenue are only apparent when combining upper and lowercase. Inspired by the strange, blocky lettering on the sides of a set of a set of plastic kitchen containers in my childhood home, 8th Avenue is a sophisticated, somewhat syncopated font with a retro look and feel that at the same time brings a very modern attitude to your design. 8th Avenue works well as display font for packaging, headlines and logos. Those pastel turquoise plastic boxes from the early 1950s, with white screen printed letters reading FLOUR, SUGAR, COFFEE etc. on one side were a simple quiet presence in our home back then and for decades after. Seeing them, even that soft blue-green colour felt like home. SUGAR, the soul survivor of that set has become one of those mundane items of daily life that somehow become simple icons of another time, ripe with memories. Obviously I had to make a font. I came across an old book called ‘Studio Handbook Letter And Design For Artists And Advertisers’ by Samuel Welo. Samuel Welo was an American advertising calligrapher, typographer and lettering artist, who was most active during the roaring twenties. Lenox Avenue is my version of a set of letters in that book. It was handmade (just like Welo had done). I only had an ABC/abc to work with, so I designed all the remaining glyphs myself. I changed some of the original (and quite quirky) letters to a more contemporary form. The font is named Lenox Avenue, once home of the famous Savoy Ballroom. Comes with all the bells & whistles.

Mak is a display font with a Ukrainian feeling inspired by Ukrainian music. This is a big update of the first free two styles of Mak (SemiBold High & Black High) that were created in 2019 and become widespread among free display fonts. The big update wasn't been only adding more weights and contrasts but also changing a lot of glyphs and adding new ones. Now Mak supports all Latin-based languages and European Cyrillic. Experiments with historical forms, contrasts, and daring shapes to create a new image of Ukrainian Cyrillic and Latin based on it.

"País" is a contemporary and modern grotesque sans serif, inspired by the grotesques of the early 20th century, but more geometric and with a wider x-height than its referents; making it ideal for the current times. Opake™ is an experimental typeface design that steps away from regular design conventions. Instead of basing the design on a calligraphic tool or geometric shapes, Opake™ is the result of the exercise of creating letters with a single continuous loop line. This unseen technique makes the overall design very unique. Though unconventional, the design resonates with some familiarity because of its calligraphic stroke terminations and some shape decisions that might resemble Cooper Black. In the end Opake™ is a cutting edge non-connecting script font, with a warm and happy feeling. Ideal for large headlines and general display use, but also branding, posters and apparel. If you like unconventional solutions and edgy design, Opake is the font to go for.

Pax is clearly a didone, using Vox classification. The contrast between the thin lines and the thicker ones is noticeable, as you would expect from a didone. The basic form is relatively narrow, therefore I designed another Pax, slightly wider and darker, and called it Pax #2. Otherwise they are more or less identical. Pax is Latin for peace, on everyone's want list in 1995 - as well as every single year before and after that. Pax was released in 1995.

Paku, a typeface that grow on the inspiration of fiddlehead (fern), taking Fibonacci curve as the base, with influence of Art Nouveau & Art Deco, it evolves into a simple yet magical typeface. The spiral’s characteristic in the typeface give the stylish impression of grace, rhythmic, classical & poetry. Wak is a lively calligraphy-based sans serif. The simplicity and smoothness of its forms is combined with the sharpness and suddenness of the details.
